 在高海拔城市波哥大,給中度至重度 COPD 患者補充氧氣顯著增加了運動時間。 與這種反應相關的機制是降低呼吸負荷、改善心血管性能和向外周輸送氧氣。

Administration of supplemental oxygen in patients with moderate-to-severe COPD in Bogota, a high altitude city, significantly increased exercise time.

 

The mechanisms associated with this response were decreased respiratory load, improved cardiovascular performance and oxygen transport to the periphery.
